MIUI 12 stable over MIUI 11 beta

Hello,
currently I have the latest MIUI 11 beta on my Redmi Note 5. I was wondering can I install without wiping the data MIUI 12 stable when it is available for the device?

Hello,

I can't say it will be 100% FC (Fatal Crashes) free but, yes, I think it's possible to install future MIUI 12 stable over MIUI 11 weekly.

You will maybe need to clear "All app data" for some apps (if FC), but your phone should boot.
