New MIUI 10 - Add Corporate account

If you are talking about Microsoft outlook account, it's the Exchange account.

I'm talking about Exchange Online Account. There's no way to configure it within the default MIUI email app. And then synchronize contacts and calendar.

i have the same problem. In other roms I could choose what I wanted to synchronize: email, contacts, calendar, tasks. At this point it just allows me to sync the email

New thoughts? Here is one: Xiaomi should once and for all throw their email client out of the ROM, and install Gmail or some other great client instead (I use BlueMail). The preinstalled app is so outdated that it is a disgrace to present it to the general user as "the choice" for email.

Probably because MIUI's Mail app is designed for Chinese providers. It was not implemented with any modern security features and protocols.
As far as I know, that app was replaced with Gmail in Global ROM.

To put an account hotmail, live, exchange ...
I have done the following:

- Add account "outlook.com"
- Put the email XXXXXXX leaving the outlook.com by default.
- Enter password and login.

- Trying to validate gives error "the account could not be configured"
- Then press "Manual configuration"
- Change the email "XXXXXX@outlook.com" for the correct "XXXXXX @ hotmail, live ...."
- Enter username (which is usually the same email or only XXXXXX) and password (which should be already set)

- Server (in my case for mail "XXXX@live.com" is "m.hotmail.com"
- Port (in my case "443")
- SSL / TLS security type

and ready.

Then you can enter the account settings and change to "Push" synchronization and mark contacts and calendar.

PD.- This I have done in a ROM Xiaomi.EU (10.0.1.0 Stable)

I was with the last Dev Global ROM (8.11.15 (MIUI10)) for mi redmi 5 plus.
All my accounts were under Gmail (including the Exchange account).
I had the problem described here of losing contacts and calendars from my Exchange account (I think it's because of Microsoft Dynamics CRM).

I went on the EU ROM (last ROM MIUI 10.3 by xiaomi.eu 9.1.10) and I have another problem : Gmail doesn't offer me an Exchange account.
I am obliged to use the native application of the ROM which proposes an Exchange account.

Someone could help me ?
