Microphone problem

Hi,
I'm not sure if this problem caused by Android Q or not, but the facts are -

Phone calls using default call application/Whatsapp calls are OK - friends can hear me loud and clear.
Recording using default tape recorder application/Sending Whatsapp record messages - Very Bad - I need to scream in order to hear something,
even by that I need to raise the volume to the maximum.

How is that possible?

Does this problem still persist, or has it been fixed in xiaomi.eu?
I have the same problem on lineage 17.1
Looks like a general Android 10 problem...

I have a similar issue with my Pocophone! In fact, I switched to xiaomi.eu in an attempt to solve it!
It happened with stock miui, I tried lineage 17.1 and now xiaomi.eu and it persists!

With ANY call/video app if I use it in “normal” speaker mode, people can hear me perfectly, but if I switch to loud speaker or in video calls in WhatsApp, messenger, teams, the microphone Is really low...

In the default calls app is the same. Normal mode people hear me without a problem, i switch to loud speaker and they don’t hear me unless i speak really loud or with the phone really close to my mouth.

if anyone could help it’d be great!
