Mi4c Vs Redmi 4 Prime

Hello,

I'm currently on an MI4C running CM13.1. Very stable and quick, really love the OS and I'm a fan of the light plastic MI4C body. However, battery is really becoming an issue. After multiple reloads and trying different OS' I still have a very short battery life and shut downs immediately at around 20% of battery remaining every time.

I'm thinking of going to a Redmi 4 Prime because of the massive battery and same res screen + SD card which I sorely miss on my 32gb MI4C.

My main worry is the camera. I've looked at some samples online and they look similar but the 4 Prime slightly worse. I am very pleased with the 4C camera, is the 4 Prime really a step down, or quite similar?

I think I'll be fine with the Snapdragon 625 compared to the 808 as I'm not maxing out the phones capabilities.

Any advice? OS options on the Prime 4? Global ROM?

I suggest you to try Resurrection Remix 5.8.2 (needs Nougat framework). I'm using and it's very stable, I have 5:30, 6:00 hours of SOC (screen on time). I'm very satisfied, no faults on this rom.
