Do you have any news about the unlock of bootloader? I'm waiting for 2 weeks already and no news and mi forum is full of garbage, no real answer. Is like no one cares about the users.

The app send me to unlock page and that's it. It says that i have to wait about 21 days. There are users waiting for more than 21 days and they didn't get the code. Xiaomi said that diamond members will get the unlock code really fast, they didn't. So now i wait for GOD Xiami to give me that unlock code.
I had a really well functioning MiPad Pro 64 gb version which I loved and was fantastic. I had all sorts of root tools such as LBE on it and the battery life was great. Then one day the weekly update without any notes on the update information (sleazy, Xiaomi) installed a bootloader lock and removed root. I immediately applied for an unlock and waited and waited and waited. Nothing. I followed the instructions to complain in the forums. I did it in the global and Chinese forum (I speak and write Chinese). Nothing. I read on the Chinese site about all the users being rejected. And yes I know I could have swiped an old ROM to restore the unlock and then swiped the system again to restore root. But frankly I was so ticked off and irritated with Xiaomi that I put the phone (and indeed the company that supplied it) where it belonged -- in the garbage. I have plenty of other phones and in fact lots of people ask me for advice for that reason. I not only NEVER, EVER will buy a Xiaomi again but I will ACTIVELY tell people to avoid this terrible company.

My fault. I want to tell Unlocking method does not work correctly, not the application.
Pls Help me! my note pro is bricked when i update latest china dev rom. i can only go fastboot mode. when i flash with mi flashtool error say "your device is locked" . do u have a any idea for flash bricked (with bootloader locked).?

Is this problem hitting all Mi Note Pro's when updating? As a user of the current Xiaomi.EU 7.1.4.0 how does this effect me? Do I need to apply now for an unlock code to save any future hassles updating?

If you read chinese MiNotePro section or en.miui.com MiNotePro section, you will see some users got same failure. I do not know why. I know, it is not too good and not enough for you.

Seriously, there's nothing that can be done w/ bootlock? It's just locked? No official Xiaomi ROM or "restore to factory" that can be done? That's insane (thought no surprising for a Chinese company). I'm actually TRYING to get my phone back to Xiaomi factory state for development purposes, I don't care about root or unlock or any of that crap.
