Mi Band 3 NFC version languages

Hi all,

I have just received my Mi Band 3 NFC version. I know non NFC version changes the chinese language to spanish (in my country) when you connect the device to your mobile for first time by firmware update.
That is not what is happening with my NFC version. Firmware has been updated but no language change detected.
Will other languages be available in short?

Hello, I think Firmware flash is necessary. I have NFC version too, I tried several version of firmware, but no one fitted to NFC version. Did you succeed?

Tried to update spanish version fw but failed at 23% or 28%. I'm not trying again by the moment. I don't want to brick It.

I kept chinese fw and mi band has been updated two or three times since I wrote. If I load EN firmware, will I lose OTA updates?

Yes, you will loose previous updates. Than you need to use modified Mi Fit - to block further OTA updates which would turn it back to Chinese.
