I have a very similar problem with
Xiaomi Mijia Air Quality Tester | Xiaomi Mijia Air Detector | Air quality detector
the latest ROM 3.5.7_0094 has some problems. And after it was updated on the device, it always freezes and could not connect to MiHome. The full reset could not help with this problem and i do not have any idea how to restore some previouse romDoes anyone have an idea where to find a proper ROM and flash the device?

Try a full reset, power down and (count to 10) power back up... I found that these do not like hidden SSID and will fail to connect, also if the AP is restarted, updated, it needs to be powered off and on again.
It could also be that the battery is essentially dead and must be line powered in order to connect. Note sure how or if the battery can be replaced.
Other than that it is prob. become a light weight brick... these were some of the first smart PM2.5 sensors and are great in the APP ... when working.. ^_^

Did you find a solution for this problem? I switched my working device off and next time I started it, it got stuck on the boot logo
