[Mi 8 SE] Problem Unlocking Bootloader on the Chinese ROM

Hi,
My Xiaomi Mi 8 SE Chinese ROM arrived today, I'm french and I do not read mandarin at all.
After comparing with videos showing the english version, I managed to:

• Connect to my Mi account
• Get into developper mode
• Switch on OEM unlock bootloader
• Switch on USB debugging
• Click on Mi Unlock Status
• Connect to my Mi account in the developper settings

I have two problems with the steps I took before. The first is when I switch on the OEM, it seems to switch off on his own. If I switch it on, go on the home screen, and go back to the settings, it's switched off. The second is I can't read the feedback message the Unlock Status gives me.
Now, I downloaded the MiFlash Unlock, installed the driver and started unlocking my phone and it gives me this message.

Is there anything I can do or am I forced to wait 2 weeks for my phone to be flashed ? I really want to have the french version ASAP.

you get this message because, as you said, now the Xiaomi has decided to set up to a maximum of 360 hours (to unlock the bootloader), the minimum is 72 hours. so I strongly advise you not to do unnecessary procedures (try to flash the phone, before the scheduled hours [then 360 hours], create two accounts MI [one main and the other to unlock the bootloader ...) if you do these procedure is useless, it only makes you recount the hours [ex. you are missing 100 hours, when unlocking the bootloader, if you do, it will put you back on 360 hours.)

2. 360 hours waiting time is the new rule from xiaomi BUT looks like if you have Chinese mobile number unlocking process is straight away.
I have unlocked mine mi 8 Se with help from one from China. However I was not able to get xiaomi.eu ROM to work properly. Always getting an error INTERNAL PROBLEM WITH DEVICE, so I am still on Chinese ROM

Thanks for that info, nice to know that it wasn't me doing something wrong. However I am not satisfied that everybody else ignoring that annoying bug.

J'attends patiemment que les 360h se terminent. En attendant j'ai passé le téléphone en version anglaise et j'ai téléchargé les services Google pour avoir accès au playstore.
Si tu es dans le même cas que moi je te conseille de faire de même et d'installer Gboard comme clavier pour avoir un AZERTY et un T9 français.

J'ai un Mi8, que j'ai reçu débloqué avec une version française de la rom. Il faut maintenant que je débloque le téléphone pour y installer Miui 10 car je suis en core en miui 9.5 version stable et je n'arrive pas à activer la reconnaissance faciale !

Tu veux dire que tu l'as reçu bloqué avec une version française ? Et tu as aussi reçu le message qui te demande d'attendre 360h?Sinon la reconnaissance faciale fonctionne sur le mi 8 SE avec MIUI v9.5 mais elle est pas mal foireuse.

En fait , je l'ai acheté sur Alixxxx. Le téléphone est une version chinoise, débloquée avec une rom multilangue, dont le français. Mais dès que je veux installer une vefsion du site xiaomi.eu, il me dit que je ne peux pas installer des rom officieuse ! et pourtnat le téléphone est annoncé comme déverrouillé, le déverrouillage OEM indique que le bootloader est déjà déverrouillé ! je ne comprend pas quoi faire en fait ! Je pense pas avoir TWRP d'installer mais je n'arrive pas à le faire !

Tu as probablement déjà une version de Xiaomi.eu. Suis un tutoriel pour apprendre comment installer une rom xiaomi.eu.
Pour savoir facilement si ton téléphone est débloqué, active le mode développeur, va dans les options développer et appuie sur "Mi Unlock Status" ou l'équivalent français. Il y aura inscrit si le téléphone est débloqué ou pas. S'il l'est c'est que TWRP est peut être encore installé sur ton téléphone, tu peux vérifier ça aussi en allumant ton téléphone en appuyant sur le bouton Volume Up et Power en même temps.

Installe VirtualBox et fait tourner Windows dans une VM si tu trouves pas de driver linux

Habituellement, vous devez entrer le code de compte MI, mais lorsque le téléphone fonctionne pour la première fois, une connexion WiFi est requise, à l’exception du code que vous avez entré. Si vous avez le WiFi, vous devez sortir votre carte SIM pour contourner la demande de connexion MNTP. Sortez la carte SIM et utilisez votre code de compte Mi
