Mi 10 Pro bootloop

hi,

after a lot of flashed xiaomi devices, now its my first time i run into a problem i´m unable to fix myself.

i successfully flashed my mi 10 pro to the last stable mui12, magisk and so on - all was fine.
but in a stressful situation, i directly edited /system/build.prop without following TWRP and /system problem. this did end in a bootloop to fastboot.

after all, i used xiaomitool and flashed the last stock for eu. flashing runs fine without errors, but now it bootloops to the bootscreen with the Mi logo.

for any ideas i´m very thankful

Did you do a clear data in the recovery menu?

hmm, ok. good point.
i was thinkig the fastboot script did wipe the data partition, but it doesn`t (checked the script).
maybe this could be mistake.

thx for the tip. i will give it a try, next week, because i'm in vacation.
