Lockscreen Pattern Changed Automatically!

I've recently updated from 7.2.9 to 7.7.20, but now my lockscreen pattern isn't working and can't unlock my phone!
I also tried using Android Device Manager powered by Google, but I can just lock the phone; the unlocking option never appears.

What can I do? I don't want to lose my files

I think it's because you didn't disable unlock before updating the ROM.

I'm not sure if you can wipe and flash the ROM again, it might not let you.

I've never disabled unlock before a ROM update and it's the first time I got this problem =/

What do you suggest then? To reinstall the current ROM?

What else can I do to solve this?

Try reinstalling the ROM first.

I've just done it and still the same, even the time penalty for trying multiple times.

Well, i didn't even know there were a bug in that version. I just wanted the last MIUI 8.

So...Should I do the jump to the last MIUI 9?
