Is Settings->Additional settings->Notification light->Pulse notification light enabled?
It is working for me on xiaomi.eu 8.0.2.0

It' s alla enabled I try to do a backup first and do a swipe to factory reset?

But...no matter if the notification led works, are notification arriving? (notification problem)
And when you are charging the phone, is the led working? (led/hardware problem)

I did a swipe factory reset and a reset after the backup. In the reset I deselected the
"Settings - backup device settings and messages". AND THE LED ARE WORKING AGAIN.

So it was something crippled in your settings...interesting.
