this apps are working other port roms of miui 14!
my device: Note 10 Pro (sweet) miui 14.0.1.0 (xiaomi.eu stable rom)

Maybe you can provide more information if you expect help, like your phone model, or the version of this custom ROM you are using ?

On sweet, Redmi note 10 pro, latest update had similar issues for me. Can't install most apps from play store or manually. Gives error.

update your TWRP and install ROM again ..

I'm having this problem. Same phone, just upgraded OTA to MIUI 14.0.1.0.TKFMIXM. I have latest TWRP (3.7.0_12-0), and tried clearing cache, force stop etc. Have reflashed twrp and reinstalled ROM but no change.
Some apps have updated OK (e.g Google Chrome), just two that won't.
I ran a logcat for the install and though I can't understand the output, here is the section that shows a failure message:

Update: started over by using MiFlash to restore stock ROM, then back to Xiaomi.eu, and apps installing now.

Hello,

I also have Redmi Note 10 Pro and updated to Miui 14. Now i have the same problems like

@uidesign4777 , some apps cant be installed or updated in the google app store, and some work fine

Is there a resolution without a new install?

Not likely. Your storage got corrupted by that TWRP.

Thanks for the reply. Before all apps work fine. Now after the update to MIUI 14 all apps work fine too, only some apps can't be updated or installed. I already updated TWRP to the last version 3.7.2 and did the Update of MIUI 14 once again, but the problem is not resolved. It's not the problem of Google Play Store, because yesterday I downloaded an APK and I can't install it too.

I will say this again, your storage got corrupted, you have to reformat it.

Is there an easy explanation as to what goes wrong when the same TWRP package can upgrade OK sometimes and then corrupt storage on others?

I did some testing and conclude the issue is once updating from android 12 to android 13, the secdata on device gets corrupted. It is not the internal memory or TWRP or sysyem issue but only secdata mismatch.

Easy way I did was to boot into fastboot mode and format secdata using command. However, I will advise to do a full reset via fastboot. Recoveries(TWRP/Fox/PBR - all latest versions) are unable to erase this secdata.

fastboot erase secdata
fastboot metadata
fastboot reboot

Is that works ?
