How To Update My Xiaomi Mi 3?

Hi, i have a xiaomi mi 3 with android 4.4.4 and miui 7 5.12.11 how can i update to android 6 and a new miui?
No OTA update come.
i read about 2 partitions but i don't understand very well.

How to update Xiaomi Mi3/4 from 4.4 to 6.0:
- Install MIUI 5.12.17 via Updater app ,twice, to merge your system partitions (no more dual system support)
- After reboot install current 6.1.21 version - let it boot and update all apps, then reboot again..
- Wipe data not needed but recommended
- No OTA this week for cancro
- First Boot can take longer than usually (10min)

I have the same problem, my mi3 has 7.1.3.0 stable from xiaomi.eu. What can I do?

Before you updating your Xiaomi , you need to backup all the data to computer
