Official TWRP does not support original Xiaomi roms, there are modified builds for some devices that can be used.

Are you saying also this official version supports Xiaomis roms?
From global stable to global dev with official twtp.I don't know if the reason is because two roms are identical, but i don't have any problems.

Xiaomis official Global Stable can be upgraded to official Global Developer directly from MIUI (Settings/About phone/System update/Choose update package). It uses Xiaomis own default recovery, not TWRP, you just need to download rom zip from http://en.miui.com/download.html to phone yourself.
That's right.But when you're in bootloop like me, can't use updater app.And official twrp did the job...
