During the process of Custom recovery installation, dm-verity is disabled. Would it be re-enabled if I flash back to official stock rom via fastboot?
Or this will remain disabled permanently?
Will this command work?
"adb enable dm-verity"
But all I could search about this command was do-not-try-unless-sure... Scary.
Scenario is when I get tired of flashing, I may want to go back to original stock rom status. From the searching, "dm-verity disabled" prevents incremental update. Is it true?
Currently my mi max is on custom recovery with the modification allowed. It was too late to know I had to choose keep read only........ I tried to put back stock rom's recovery img and to see if it re-enables but it didn't.
Anyone knows how to make the phone back to locked/disabled on dm-verity?
Or anyhow to be able to get incremental updates when going back to official rom?
