Hey Google not available on Dev XM12

Hi guys,
Silly question but does anybody knows why "hey Google" doesn't work on the dev release of the rom?
Just freshly installed yesterday but when I go on the "hey Google" menu it shows something like "hey Google is not supported by the current device".

Any clue?

Edit: so apparently hey Google works with the default version of the Google app installed in the rom, however as soon as the app updates hey Google becomes unavailable.

Have no issues with Voice Match on Xiaomi 12.

Very glad that you don't but that's what I see on mine, as said, fleshly installed via fastboot yesterday.

Let me know if I can provide any other files that might be valuable for further investigation.

Fix found by Igor:

Those who see "Hey Google is not supported on this device" when accessing the "Hey Google & Voice Match" settings:
1) Uninstall app updates for the "Google" app.
2) Disable automatic app updates for the "Google" app in Play Store.
3) Install the last working version of the "Google" app (14.38.27) manually:

Don't install any newer version of the app (14.39.xx or newer) for now until Google tends to this issue.

Note: If the "Hey Google is not supported on this device" is still showing after doing the above, just do Clear data -> Manage space -> Clear Google Search Data, then relaunch the app and retry.
