I have a k30 5g with miui 20.12.10.
after using the camera for around 8 minutes i feel that was hot like 50 C through plastic and in my pocket(above comfortable heat) and the heat continues for some minutes, and after 2 reboot and more minutes the phone stopped acting like a fx (generating heat by existing) and cooled down to normal temperature.
Now i tried again and is the same, just the frontal camera open with ia activated and past 5 minutes and the screen is like around 45 to 50 C and in the back near the camera is hotter, like 60 through the plastic. and if i let it will keep heating up.
(it is hotter than charging or playing cod mobile)
usually i don't care if i was doing something heavy, like recording, but i wasn't.
some days before i flash the 12.2.10 i was taking pictures and recording, the phone doesn't even heated.
