Google Sync Issue

Hi,
Since upgrading to 8.5.2 my Google keep and Gmail have been inconsistent.
The worst affected is Keep.. If I set a note to remind me the following morning, it seems Keep has not synced by the following morning so it still thinks the reminder is for tomorrow when it should now be for today.
Only when I open Keep does it update to showing today for the reminder.

Keep has autostart and all required notification and app permissions.
Google account sync is enabled including Keep.

Anyone else experienced this?

Are both pinned on recents and without restrictions on battery usage?

Haven't pinned recent but tried without battery restrictions and it made no difference.
It was working before the 8.5.2 update so I'm not sure why sync is not working properly.
It's not good when I need to action emails that I don't even notice I received
