Hello, I have a problem, since I bought the Poco F5 Pro, it has been two or three months I can't update Google Play System, the date in the picture is October, when I recently updated the phone's ROM to Hyper OS 2, Google Play System was also updated to October, but it's still October for last year and it's old, I always follow the news and see that Google updates Pixel phones every month I also tried with the vpn, even did a factory reset and a bunch of other things I realized that it's probably because of the security updateIt is outdated and will not be updated until 2024/12/01 ,Is this true?
If the phone is updated, the Google Play system will also be updated.

Most, if not all, components from Google Play System Update have been removed from HypeOS. com.google.android.networkstack is a concern though.

That's false. All variants of Global ROM (EEA, India, etc) come with full Google integration.
On our ROMs, however, we use generic components, some of them were customized by Xiaomi to enable more features (like Wi-Fi optimization options).

#define "Full Google Integration". Do you integrate Mainline as individual APKs _OR_ extract their contents and merge directly into HypeOS, therefore rendering these APKs not present?

Can you check if you have them components listed in my attachment? It was taken from my newly flashed Poco M5 Global stock ROM, done by Authorized XiaoMi Service Center. With people running HypeOS worldwide reporting not getting Google Play System Update since July, someone needs to investigate.

Why do some people have Aug-Nov updates? Because they, like me, were running MIUI that came with Android 13. My HypeOS was only released some time in Nov, and so I had Google Play Nov update until I bricked my phone trying to update it.

It's not just a Xiaomi problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy S25 with the latest ROM.

Yeah, and here lies my problem. My newly flashed Poco M5 (done by Xiaomi Authorized Service) running Global HyperOS 1.0.12.0.ULUMIXM does not contain most, if not all, of the Mainline components as standalone packages. So, based on the finsky logs i attached, when Google Play System Update tries to update the Mainline packages, it sees that they were never installed, and therefore nothing to update. Is my understanding correct?

i'm also curious why it's not checking updates for every component in Mainline.

p/s : I assume you don't have the same phone model to test, but you should be able to test with any phone running HypeOS. Just leave "adb logcat" (redirect output to a file as needed) running while you do a Google Play System Update. Look for the "finsky" logs. Or if this is not the proper way to grab logs, just use your favorite way. I'm just a Beginner in troubleshooting phones.

I wouldn't know, I'm not using any kind of official ROM, and on our ROMs we only use a tiny bit of Mainline components, only one APEX.

@Igor Eisberg
Exactly! I believe HypeOS is also, or maybe not even, using a bit of Mainline components. Hence, the whole world is reporting Google Play System Update no longer updates.

For what it's worth my 15 Ultra (still on official EEA ROM because I'm unable to unlock the BL), is on October 2024 update as well.

Google Play System Update 2025 Feb available for Poco M5 HypeOS 1.x. The following modules were updated for my phone. Nothing of significant importance, really.
