"Google Home" integration with "MiHome" app is not working

I cant link or re-link the MiHome app in Google Home. I use Google Home to control many Mi devices, but recently the link or relink of the MiHome app is not working - i.e. I cannot see my new devices in Google Home. I can only control the old devices I have added in the past.

Google Home -> Add and manage -> Set up a device -> Works with Google -> Mi Home -> Reconnect account -> Continue -> Sign in with my Mi Home account -> nothing...

Any ideas?
