Is there any way to get the original Xiaomi Always on Display to work on LCD Redmi phones? I installed it one time with apk and it got installed and opened and showed the clock styles and things but it didnt show the aod screen when you locked the screen. Is there any method to make it work without any root? Let me know.

But in the case of LCD display, using AoD is pointless (high power consumption). That is also the reason why similar devices do not have this function. When using AoD with LCD display, the entire display is still lit, while with OLED only the pixels that display some content are lit, otherwise the entire display is turned off.
