Fix for Google's Phone app as default?

Hi, I've had Google's Phone app as default dialer, tho it doesn't work. Made the app as default, turn off battery optimization and enable popup

However, when a call came in the app just doesn't work, no notification from the app it just rings, unlike Google message app which no issues it's just for the Dialer app by Google

Is there a fix on this one?
