Fill Light missing

I have the latest stable Xiaomi EU 14.0.19.0 on my 13 Ultra/ishtar and the fill Light feature (lights up the sides of the screen so your face is visible in the dark) no longer appears when in WhatsApp although it appeared for the 2 weeks I had been using CN before unlocking.

Is there a way to get it back?

I've found out that this setting exists as an activity in activity launcher (see picture 1&2) but not in the settings app (pic 3). It seems the miui security app has this functionality but it is turned off. Is there anything I can do myself to enable it or is it something Xiaomi EU developers do not care about to allow?

Edit: am on the rebuilt 14.0.20.0 Xiaomi EU ROM

Irrelevant for international users. It's working with a few specific Chinese apps.

It works with WhatsApp and Messenger. I have personally used it on CN, it works for the guy in the link too.

I can assure you this works with WhatsApp and Messenger on my device on CN ROM

WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app in the world, so I think it would be a good addition to the ROM for international users

Alright, I checked it on WhatsApp and seems to be working. We'll leave it unlocked for next releases.
