I run the latest weekly rom on my Xiaomi 12X (psyche) rooted with Magisk (included modules: shamiko, safetynet fix) but the problem persists also on a non-rooted device.
While trying to open Google Pay for adding the cards I get the following error: 'Google Pay is updating right now...' and can't get any further.
Of course Zygisk is active and the app is on DenyList.
I would add that other banking apps included in DenyList work correctly.
But as already said - it seems the problem is not root-oriented as it is the same on a freshly installed rom without Magisk.
Has anyone experienced that already and fixed it somehow?
