Hi everyone,
I bought this phone earlier this year and I don't think the photo quality was ever very good.
For stuff far away it's great and the HDR and auto AI and stuff features do a good job in getting more detail.
However, for close up stuff it's absolutely HORRIBLE. It seems like it doesn't focus at all on whatever I'm trying to shoot.
I've had better close up pictures with my One Plus 2 back from the 2010's. How is this possible?
I've read other people here complaining about similar things but about other phone models (still Xiaomi 12 models) but those posts are very old and got no traction, so I decided to create a new one.
Only thing I was able to get from those posts were people saying it automatically switches to the telephoto lenses when shooting something up close, but that's not even the case with mine.
Also I don't really want to use a telephoto lens to take pictures of everything that's close up.
I'm not quite sure if this is something on the Software or Hardware side of things though.
Anyone figured out a fix for this yet?
