New Camera Macro Focus

Hi,

I'm using MI2S, version MIUI JLB20.0.

I would like to report that the camera won't focus on close objects, even in Macro mode but the cross-hairs still turn green.
Is this just for my phone or is it like this for others as well?

Any resolution will be greatly appreciated!
