Audio recording very low in some apps

Hi, I have a Redmi 8 with MIUI Global 12.5.2. The sound recording volume in some apps is very very low, for example tiktok. This is not always the case, for example in Whatsapp everything is fine.
Any idea where the problem might be? I'd like to avoid factory reset for now.
