We've noticed some users are asking about Android 7 and MIUI 9 China Stable ROM in Redmi 4 Prime, and others are asking Split Screen, App Vault and other features in other devices. We are here to clarify some of your doubts and future plan of MIUI for other devices. Scroll down to know more about this announcement
Android 7 in Redmi 4 Prime
✦ Due to complex issues in compatibility with Redmi 4 Prime so it won't get Android N update of China Stable ROM for the moment.
MIUI 9 China Stable ROM in Redmi 4 / Redmi 4 Prime
✦ MIUI 9 China Stable ROM for Redmi 4 / Redmi 4 Prime has been in testing process. It's expected that some Mi Fans may receive the update Late December. After the beta testing, update will be pushed to all the users.
Features Supported in Other Devices:
✦Split screen feature is in compatibility testing on devices based on Android 6. It's expected to be tested on China Alpha ROM early January, 2018. After the test completion, it will be released to test in Beta ROM and stable ROM.
✦ Taplus supports the devices based on Android 5 and later versions.
✦ App vault supports on Android 5 and later versions and Android 4.4 doesn't support My payments or Favorites
Our developers are trying hard to make all features to support all the devices and we can expect more new features in the upcoming updates.
