4x: best Xiaomi.eu rom version?

Now I have 7.9.21 (miui9) and I'm almost satisfied.
It's better to upgrade to miui10?
I'm interested in colour led and *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* (now working both).

I updated a few days ago to miui 10 stable, the latest available, very good battery drain but I hate the new notifications lock screen system.
So I would go back to miui 9.
What version do you suggest me?
Is it possible only flashing it via TWRP without brick risks?
