Well, it arrived faster than expected.
With the new Unlocked version, BL unlock procedure is a lot easier than it used to be , but the Captcha still is a royal pain. With my degenerated maculae i had no chance, even with a lot of magnification , and my wife - who still has very good vision - needed six attempts before succeeding, and receiving the verification SMS.
Meanwhile i am playing around with the original MIUI 14.0.5, and did not find a way to disable Google Contacts sync or a way to delete all contacts (no Select all).
Hope the EU ROM has a friendlier solution.
