Downloading ROM with the Updater app, when I tap the notification (showing the download completion percentage) nothing happens. I expect it brings me do the Updater app screen. Is it by design? Thanks

Sounds true, on fuxi running 23.11.8 I was able to use even previous TWRP A13, worked good.

Ah, and by the way... One of the most widely promoted features of Android 14 notifications (it'd be pretty much safe to say Android 14 in general) would be, probably, the Notifications history - seems to be missing in the HyperOS or am I overlooking something?

Even though I cannot confirm any missing notifications as such on my end, there are definitely a few things that drive me nuts about the notifications behaviour in A14: - The permanent (aka persistent) notifications do not really persist since A14 - not only this is the intended behaviour, but...

Somebody's reported earlier in this thread that they managed to workaround a similar problem by flashing a stock ROM with the official Mi Flash tool and then install the xeu ROM using the first install script.

Did you run the update_rom or the first_install_with_data_format script?

For what its worth, I managed to eliminate many of initial UI glitches seen immediately after update by cleaning caches/memory/obsolete files with the default Xiaomi cleaner and then simply put my phone to reboot couple of times.
