Sorry for quoting myself, but as nobody has an answer i gave it for myself ;-) Installed Hyperos on my phone via fastboot (with some errors, but i think that was a bad cable...works at 3nd try...), then booted into twrp and voila, there is latest twrp.....didn't install it so its inside the ROM...

Mmm, everytime i asked in past it was "no upgrade from weekly to stable" (MiUI14), OP says "...from Hyperos weekly to stable" (not MIUI14 to Hyperos), but last time i asked someone said from MIUI14 to HyperOS it will be an upgrade, so its possible to upgrade. So i think you are wrong here, btw...

Hi, first many thanks for bringing HyperOS to Mi11 Ultra. Just a little question: I remember that with MIUI14 latest TWRP was inside the flashable zip, so that even with installing via fastboot we had latest TWRP without flashing that after. So it was easy to just boot to TWRP after flashing...

For me (Mi11U) nearly everytime i start compass it needs recalibration. Thats with every nightly since long time....

Not a big thing, but after some latest builds i never seen boot animation (the 3 dots), only bootloader screen an later lockscreen. Anyone can confirm? Bug or feature? ;)

If you are rooted before and/or installed weekly/stable xiaomi.eu rom , you must have opened your bootloader. So then best is installing magisk, force deny list, add banking apps and install unibversal.safetynet patch....with that all my banking apps work here.

Rear display on Mi11U sucks a lot, seems that chinese developers didn't really want to fix the bugs in rearscreen app for months, maybe its a hardware bug (as some has problems, some not, weekly or stable, maybe they used panels leftover from quality control....don't know). Seems we had to live...

For me thats after every ROM update. No deep sleep after, but only for the first 5 - 10 hours, after that working normally. And Mi11U is a energy sucker, but i have many apps.... On my older oneplus 8 pro with lineage its much better but with less apps ;)

Noticed it some weeklys ago, don't know which. Some has this bug, some not, so maybe its specific for people that upgraded from miui13 or stable. Btw, i gave up trieing and set with ringtone maker....

Don't know if that has something to do with that, but nearly every time i open compass app it needs calibration.....so maybe its not alone google issue.

Yes, on Mi11Ultra too. One of this annoying long-time-bugs, but you can use 3rd-party app like "ringtone maker" as workaround.

Working OK on Mi11U, but same as every update: Nothing changed with real annoying bugs (rear screen), some new bugs like icons suddenly resetting to stock and crash of some background app. As always no deepsleep within first ~8 hours.

Mi11Ultra: From time to time i get error reporting popup, some app (com.google.android.as) crashes, but seems its not a big problem, just an annoying popup. As before i can't set ringtone without 3rd-party app. Nothing changed with sucking rear screen, but i don't think we will ever see that...

Yes , ringtone bug present even in new nightly (mi11u). You need some 3rd-party app like ringtone maker to set own ringtone, if using system tone app it will switch to some system ringtone everytime. Another nasty longtime bug it seems, all workarounds i see didn't work.

Update works (TWRP/Mi11U), red error like always, had to reboot into twrp again for installing magisk....but works. Seems that after every update now it needs 1 or 2 days till deepsleep works, after update there is no deepsleep for hours and after some reboots. Bit annoying but with last build...

No context, I just wondered that some bug with power consumption is fixed on mi11 while new bug introduced on mi11ultra. Now I hope it's possible to downgrade till it's fixed, without deep sleep power consumption is really bad. Before upgrade the only thing that prevent Deep sleep was the buggy...

Now my device (mi11ultra) never goes into deep sleep....so yes, increased power consumption ;-)
