Peridot updated to latest 1.0.16. Not sure if i'm biased, but 1.0.14 may had bettery battery life for me. Wifi drain issue still persists. I am just a sample size of one so take my comment with much grain of salt. But everything looks okay so far.

This really helped. Flashed latest TWRP for peridot but ended up could not decrpyt data despite removing screen lock. Same here as well, despite removing screen lock. Probably some fault on my part on not understanding everything.

that's just what one of the users mentioned regarding on wifi drain on peridot. I couldn't verify as well as i've been caught up by work. But i can say that FKM did improve my battery life.

I used FKM + YAKT, to downclock my device, it's giving pretty good battery life now. A previous post by someone mentioned that the wifi bug is caused when switching from wifi to mobile data (or the other way around), one of the CPU stays on the highest frequency. Hopefully this does get fixed...

could i ask how's battery life with the latest build for peridot? is it better to the previous build?

anyone else can confirm this? I do have a battery drain on wifi as reported by the battery, but i am using FKM to downlock all my cpus now, in which it does improve battery life, but at the cost of performance (in which i can't really tell most of the time, as all i do right now is make calls)

Peridiot F6 Latest 1.0.14, the charging animation is fixed (i've only updated it a day ago), battery stats still showing wifi is "reportedly" draining. Not sure if the drain is accurate but just to let everyone else know.

Does the latest global stable not have this bug? you mind sharing your Battery stats? I've just updated to the latest .14 version. I'll run it for few days before giving my anwser.

if i'm not wrong, for this to happen, there has to be a monthly firmware update. Unfortunately, xiaomi doesn't commit stable monthly updates, thus we would not be getting those updates on a monthly basis. If im wrong please do correct.
