Resolved Google wallet stopped working/Device doesn't meet security requirements

Does it mean that tomorrow you will start reuploading stable ROMs without the fix? So that I can then root my device and make GPay work?

Update with the rebuilt ROM if already available for your device.

Resolved Google wallet stopped working/Device doesn't meet security requirements

As long as you are willing to play the cat and mouse game with Google (if and when a new spoofing trick is possible), I am perfectly fine and will always patiently wait for a fixed update whenever Google might decide to patch the workaround. Thank you very much!

Resolved Google wallet stopped working/Device doesn't meet security requirements

You have a point but that would mean excluding hardcoded fix and telling users to root if they want to use GPay. Valid approach but majority of users would probably not like that + it is a bit of headache trying to hide root from all the different apps. I suppose what people (me being one of...

Resolved Google wallet stopped working/Device doesn't meet security requirements

Awesome news that a new fix is ready for the next update. I have to disagree on "merely a bonus" statement. I mean no offense but who would like to use ROM without working GPay? The year is 2023 and I doubt anyone wants to willingly carry cards around or get a second phone just for payments...

Resolved Google wallet stopped working/Device doesn't meet security requirements

You are right, only Xiaomi.EU devs can fix it and it would be great to know their stance on the situation. Rooting will not help because as you already pointed out the previous inbuilt fix breaking the new Magisk module. I have a backup iPhone where I can use Apple Pay but I am already mentally...

Resolved Google wallet stopped working/Device doesn't meet security requirements

It certainly is possible to fix as there is already a working Magisk module (doesn't work for Xiaomi.eu unfortunately) so Xiaomi.eu devs have to have a look at the source code of that module and "build it into" Xiaomi.eu ROM. I believe developers of at least one other ROM have done it.

    MIUI Launcher

Is MIUI Launcher only in weekly version yet? Or also in 12.5 stable? EDIT: I just realized this is thread about Poco X3, not F3. I hope they add MIUI Launcher to F3 as well.

MIUI 12.0 MIUI 12.0/12.1/12.2/12.5 STABLE RELEASE

I have Poco F3. If I install stable version without Magisk(root), I will have no issues passing safetynet, is my understanding correct? I mean I don't need root in order to pass safetynet?

    MIUI Launcher

Is MIUI Launcher included in latest stable POCO X3 Pro ROM? If not, would you be able to add it as optional launcher into ROM? Or perhaps even have separate flash .zip file? Thank you in advance.

    MIUI Launcher

Does this version have issues with uninstalling apps? When you uninstall them from homescreen, they appear back after reboot?
