I installed a theme with grid settings, but in last xiaomi.eu ROM it was possible to change grid by settings and not only with particular theme. I want to know if the difference is xiaomi.eu ROM vs Global stable ROM

Hi, I have a redmi note 4x with miui 8.5 global stable. How can I modify grid size? Last week I had a mi4c (I sold it a few days ago) with miui 8.5 stable (xiaomi.eu) and I could change grid size. Why I can't do this now on note 4x? It depends on rom (global stable vs xiaomi.eu stable)? Thank you

Bootloader is locked from 8.5.1 stable, before that version bootloader shouldn't be locked..

Maybe you should wait a few days more... In my case, even if i got the unlock code by sms, I can't unlock my phone. I tried a couple of month later and everything went right.

Can I wipe both cache and davilk now or will I loose some data? I'm finding lotta of trouble expecially with Camera App..

Finally I updated my mi 4c and all goes well. But where is the button to switch frontal camera? I can't find it!

ok, thank you @iamme729! Before upgrade, do I need to wipe cache and dalvik? Or can I upgrade directly from updater up, selecting my zip package?

@Atouba after upgrading to andorid 7, did you unlock the device or the upgrade worked well without unlock the device??
