Instaled in Mi8 following this and all is ok. No issues, camera works. Thanks to the developers for their excellent work and support. The system takes a longer time to boot than previous versions but not a big problem.

My friend had the same problem and was solved after clear camera cache and data. Now his Mi8 is working fine.

You must lock garmin app to avoid memory clear. Open garmin app, open the multitask windows (apps runing), touch and hold garmin app, 3 icons appears, touch the paddle lock icon. No more disconects.

I installed this also but are not the same that previous builds, the icons of previous builds like 8.8.27 were animated p. example.

Yes using fastboot, very easy. sound on headphones is the same than before. I'm using Mi mix 2 with USB C to mini jack adapter.

Now alarm fails :/, after more than one year using xiaomi.eu I switched to global stable. literaly unplayable, too much bugs.

Mix 2 updated, no bootloop problems, dial and contacts FC fixed. All working OK.

Mix 2 bootloop to TWRP, restoring 8.4.4 don't work. Need a full wipe and come back to previous version. Crash in contact and phone and disable contacts sync in Mi cloud. Very dissapointed, no root or mods installed, just the rom and common apps.

Same issue in my Mix2, double sound in whatsapp notifications.
