q: when we use "update rom* option to flash the rom, will it overriding the modem related file or it will skip it?

has anyone tried replacing modem file in the fastboot rom with early beta @Dev build to the latest build? my internet are having issue rn..maybe only can try later.

Ive getting really annoyed with this issue. Need to be in the living room all the time if i want to download big file..pfftt..stupid phone.. regret buying this sooo much.

@Igor Eisberg sorry to tag u here. i'm in desperate situation as my company is at level 26 with very low - to no signal at all for telco signal..so i depend on company wifi, but my seat is in average range from wifi router. this caused no problem when i use CN rom (i'm using CN set), just happen...

Does anyone know, for houji, did this rom using global rom modem for the rom or using chinese rom modem? Quite number of people having issue with wifi problem. Internet connection lost within average range which previously is ok on other rom (cn rom in my case)

I've just using this rom on houji since 1.0.38 & 1.0.39 from CN Rom..but have been trouble with wifi problem that will say no internet connection on weak signal that previously had no problem with such range. (I cannot use my wifi when i'm in my room that previously has no suc issue in CN rom)...

I dont think so. After unlocking, the phone will reset, then u can even flash other rom that too, will clear all the data too.

whats the price right now to unlock bootloader? its very hard to deal with cn rom..and its very hard to sell since everybody already know this UBL issue.

Hi, as per title, i hve xiaomi 14 cn set. i'm living in Malaysia. so i install global version of mi community and apply for unlock bootloader. it was approved but when i try to add account at the developr option>mi unlock status, it mention couldnt add the account.. is it really cnnot be added...

wowww...its 100usd now? Xiaomi really open a way for business for people..

do you mind share any link for it, is there any tutorial etc? i'm fed up with this chinese rom. random heating, random idle rebooting.
