    unlocking bootloader breaks GPay?

    may I confirm this is true for 12SU/13U? Is there a way to retain GPay but still switch from China to EU ROM? If root is needed, I'm afraid it will break my banking apps or other simple apps like Macdonald's too.

    Can't unlock bootloader on 12SU even with OEM unlock & USB debugging on

    AS per screenshot. I rebooted to FASTBOOT (logo shown on phone, albeit a bit dim), and connected to PC, but the unlock button is still greyed out. USB debugging definitely works because I can see it under adb devices. I'm on miui 14.0.12 CHINA ROM stock currently. Please help!
