You need to enable volte on xiaomi. I didn't have it on by default but the option was grayed out. I had to enable it and then the option was lit and volte was active. It was some dialer code ...if someone remebers it by heart they can tell you but you can also google it.

K20 pro. Lags a bit when locking the screen. I can't change my security settings for my apps. I click on the yes and it flashes but returns to no again. Battery is draining about 1/3 faster than with earlier versions.

I had to test out that screen never going to sleep problem you had but i am sorry to say it but it seems that i don't have it. I had to test it since i will always just manually lock the screen so i wouldn't have noticed if there was an issue with it.

Hope it works too but at least it's switched to be on and i see the icon at the top of my screen so i guess it should at least. The carrier supports volte so that shouldn't be any issue.
