    I created 2 vlans, one with 2.4GHz just for Xiaomi Projector and another dual band 5GHz/2.4GHz for everything else. It fixed my problem.

    U may use this temporary solution, turn off 5GHz band and use only 2.4GHz. Also, u can create 2 wlans, one for Xiaomi projector with 2.4GHz and second dual-band for everything else.

    Got my Xiaomi projector yesterday and have same issues with WiFi. Did they announced some new firmware to fix it ?
