Does CN version change available bands when installing EU ROM?

It doesn't. It's disabled right now as you can see on Kimovil. And Kimovil is in my experience very reliable source of information.

Does CN version change available bands when installing EU ROM?

No doesn't necessary mean the hardware difference. On the official Xiaomi site is stated that MI11 supports 5G: n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n41, n77, n78, n7, but frequencies are regional enabled. And as we all know Qualcomm's modem has capacity to cover even more. I remember from the...

[GUIDE][venus|star|mars] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Xiaomi MI11 / Pro / Ultra

I tried global and I feel that the two roms are hardly comparable. The design of global is just obsolete and in my opinion very ugly. I didn't find the global more stable, both main glitches I found in eu rom - poor battery and inaccurate fingerprint sensor are presented in global as well. Like...

[GUIDE][venus|star|mars] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Xiaomi MI11 / Pro / Ultra

I came from Huawei and Vivo and I feel a huge difference. Never before I had to think about how to come through the day no matter of use. It was just a given to survive more than a day, usually two full days without a problem.

    Mi 11 Android auto

No, nothing extra. But AA itself could be buggy these times. If it doesn't start just delete data, give it permissions and connect. You must connect when the car is not moving and the phone could be locked.

[GUIDE][venus|star|mars] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Xiaomi MI11 / Pro / Ultra

I really appreciate the great work of devs regarding eu rom. They are legend, with the bare Chinese rom the phone would be on the edge of usefulness. There are still two problems that exist and derive from the Chinese base I'm afraid. One is the massive battery drain and the other is the...

[GUIDE][venus|star|mars] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Xiaomi MI11 / Pro / Ultra

If you drive, you use android auto. And you can use android avto from the locked screen, just to plug-in the phone. And then you can use assistant. So it's not that useless.

    MIUI 12.5 21.2.3/4

The battery drain is massive. I don't remember how it was with the stable rom because I used it only for basic functions due to the limitations but I can say that it is almost double as it was with my previous phones (Huawei, Vivo) considering the battery capacity and reduced refresh rate (60)...

Yes, it starts. The initial setup was somehow blurry (or it was just a theme I used then), after that it heeled itself. And apps like maps, vlc, books, assistant, phone work as well.
