And 5min after posting that, I had a random reboot on the Mi 8. Keeping an eye on that.

Successful update to 8.8.30 on Mi 8 and Mi Max 3. Both phones are smooth and fast after the update. Let's hope the battery drain on the Camera app on the Mi 8 is better now.

Just tested my Bluetooth headphones on the Mi 8 on 8.8.16, pairing, connecting, playing music and then toggling airplane mode several times. The headphones always reconnected successfully and playback worked flawlessly.

I waited for boot up. Once the phone is booted and I get beyond the lockscreen, a number of processes crash continuously and after a while, the phone reboots into recovery. Thats what I call bootloop.

Tried that, still ended up in a boot loop. Removed magisk via uninstaller, dirty flashed the 8.8.9 built over the 8.8.16, wiped cache and dalvik and reinstalled magisk. Ended up in the bootlop. Reflashed 8.8.16 and magisk to get it working again. This cannot be anti-rollback, or can it?

Only restarting after I was aware that GPS was no longer working and that the battery was massively drained by the GPSD wakelock.

I also encountered the GPSD wakelock on the Mi 8. This and the System UI crashes on German language settings. As this is my first try of xiaomi.eu weekly builds on the Mi 8, I cannot compare with previous builds. What exactly is the Bluetooth problem?

The problem only occurs on German language setting. Once you switch to English, it is gone.

It is actually that hard. When I click "View Summary", the summary report tries to open and *poof*... back at the lock screen. So there is no possibility to take a screenshot. BTW: Same problem here. System UI crashes every few minutes. Mi 8 with German language settings.

Mi5s... Gmail notifications are still reduced to e.g. "1 new mail" instead of really showing a preview of the content of the mail. I cannot find any settings to change that. Permissions seem to be OK. Problem was introduced with Android 7 last week.

Updated my Mi5s to 7.6.8 with Android 7. Great work, running smooth. Only one problem so far: Gmail notifications are now reduced to e.g. "1 new mail" instead of really showing a preview of the content of the mail. I cannot find any settings to change that. Permissions seem to be OK. Any ideas?
