Can Anyone Share Me A Good And Stable 8.1 Version?

No such thing. Older versions are terrible. Do a clean flash of MIUI 9 (fastboot) then install Xiaomi.eu MIUI. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

Is There Battery Drain Problem In Xiaomi.eu Rom?

What "perfservice" fix? I've tried a lot of the MTK perfservice tuning and let me tell you, it's all bullshit. If it were that simple then MTK and Xiaomi would have done it already. Leave this stuff alone, it's not the cause. Standby Battery drain is usually always a problem with modem/cell...

Is There Battery Drain Problem In Xiaomi.eu Rom?

No drain at all. In fact the latest MIUI 9 is the best standby battery I've ever seen. I do freeze Whetstone app and manually set 1GB zRAM for far better multitasking, it may also help with battery. My other tweaks are probably not significant. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

Can't Re Install Twrp 3.1.1.0 On Redmi Note 4 Mtk With Miui 9 (global Dev 7.10.19)

Try with Xiaomi.eu firmware instead of official.... Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

Why Isn't It Clear That Xiaomi.eu Is An Unofficial/3rd-party Organisation?

Hi Xiaomi.eu team, I've been an MIUI fan/user/hacker/porter since this site was miuiandroid.com. I doubt any would remember but I used to work on the MIUI Australia fork with lenny_kano a long time ago, I worked on Sony ports and he did a lot of the hardcore mods. Not trying to toot my horn -...

Miui 8.5.2 Blocks Access To Internal Storage?

No, this is a European 3rd-party reseller (originally it was miuiandroid.com and was just a custom MIUI ROM). I really wish these guys would make it clear that it's unofficial, because a LOT of people come here asking support, thinking it's official.... To answer your question...

    Battery Problem - Redmi Note 4 (snapdragon) / 8.5.8.0

Nope. No such problem in my Note 4 MTK, on latest 7.10.12 anyway. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

Miui 8.5.2 Blocks Access To Internal Storage?

Weird. Well I haven't used official in ages, and Epic is almost certainly just a rip-off of xiaomi.eu ROM (but bloated with useless tweaks) and I also use MagiskSU so yeah, dunno. But good to hear. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

    Lockscreen Password Reset Method.

Nice. And this is why anybody who is serious about security on their device should encrypt it with a pin ;) If you are worried about performance, all half-decent modern CPU's have hardware AES instructions for this exact reason. Yes, that even includes MTK (in fact the Helio X20 outperforms...

Miui 9: Do You Still Disable Miui And Memory Optimization?

"MIUI Optimizations" is a UI/UX thing only. It will replace some styling with MIUI variants. But it will also break Google CTS (for Play Certification) which is why it is (or should be) disabled by default on Global versions with Play Services pre-installed. Personally I turn it off, because...

Miui 8.5.2 Blocks Access To Internal Storage?

This forum is about xiaomi.eu ROM's, not official. If you only have read-only access to storage, this is likely because errors were encountered on the storage and Android remounted it as read-only. Format the storage or run fsck manually. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

Miui 8.5.2 Blocks Access To Internal Storage?

Are you actually using Xiaomi.eu ROM? It has the storage media fix already. Official MIUI does not. But later Android versions won't allow raw access to storage without root (the app itself needing root, I mean), the app needs to support a newer API like DocumentsProvider (where you need to...

Miui 9 On Redmi Note 4 Mediatek

Because the China firmware is always released first and historically has more features than global. Xiaomi serve their own Chinese market as first class (that is where 90% of their business is) and they sometimes remove things completely in global versions. MIUI9 getting a global beta first...

Hopeful And Dump...still Waiting For Hmnote4 Rom

Nothing we can do about it. Not a big deal, MIUI9 doesn't seem to have a whole lot different. The fact that global is released first and China firmware has problems must mean there is something special about MIUI9 China. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

Replacing Screen Without Digitiser Cable (mimax Pro)

You done goofed. The digitiser is actually an extra layer that's fused to the glass/screen with special equipment. What you've bought is a screen without the digitiser at all. Don't worry, happened to me when buying my first screen.... You need to buy the screen with digitiser already...

Q&a : How To Remove System App " Super Market Miui " ?

If you want to build your own ROM, look at logcat and solve it yourself. That's a required skill for it. You will need to do some smali editing on framework. Or just use Xiaomi.eu ROM. They guys here have saved you a LOT of time and have many years of experience. Sent from my Redmi Note 4...

    Miui Apk Mod And Signatures

Xiaomi.eu signatures a fine. This must be a bug in apksigner or whatever you are using. Xiaomi.eu signatures must be an unsupported signature format or something. If there was something wrong, the firmware would not work, obviously. So it's your signing/checking process in error - not the...
