    correct, no brick (mi5 32gb) update twrp through twrp REBOOT <--- IMPORTANT STEP install new rom 6.12.8 through new twrp 3.0.2.3 wipe ONLY cache / dalvik after rom installation process is finished (same windows) REBOOT AFTER you can install supersu

    mi5 32gb with 6.11.10 I updated TWRP 3.0.2.3, reboot, install 6.12.8 via twrp, wipe cache/dalvik, reboot all ok
