    My mi2 has started freezing on a black screen, no reason tried different releases of miuiandroid and still the same. Luckily not too many people have taken my advice to buy or else I'd be starting to get complaints when this kind of thing happens to them!

    ^^sounds like you need an iPhone! For all the faults, they just work with no tinkering.

    Well I tried the java program that changed the rom as per the xda link in the op. Phone wouldn't boot, so restored the cwm backup I made just before.... I assumed the xda first option to be the most seamless. Ah well, I'll try x posed now!

    This interests me, I use 2g almost all day. When I manually switch from 2g only to 3g/2g there's a loss of signal I presume where the radio chip s switches. Surely this app could cause the loss too, only at a time not of the users choosing?

    All you get on here will be ibuygou being the best place. Sadly they're also the dearest! No doubt ibuygou always sells genuine but the mark up they put on is rather steep! I'm likely to try realprices next I've not heard bad about them, that's not a recommendation mind!
