That is possible yeah. Another possibility could be battery puffing. Is your battery physically inflated? Sometimes gas builds up inside them making them bigger, pressing against the screen from below. Gesendet von meinem MI 2 mit Tapatalk

Got a screen protector on it? Hard to see because of the video quality. If so you might have a bad one and it interferes with the digitizer. Or the screen could just be smudged. In both cases remove the s**t on your screen and live happily ever after.

The biggest problem i see with mtp is folder content synchronization and speed. Especially with files that were created on Android itself. Android doesn't see them as a file system change and thus doesn't update the file list. Even reboots don't change a thing about that.

You won't like hearing this but you are screwed. Your only chance would be to hack enable mass storage mode from within recovery mode, plug the phone into a Linux computer, do a bitwise partition backup and use ext4 undelete to extract, let's say, all deleted jpg files from the bit dump.

As has been said before, currently the best way to easily check authenticity is by checking what recovery is preinstalled. So far there are no clones out that have MI recovery installed. Legit Xiaomi phones however come with that one by default. :) Gesendet von meinem MI 2 mit Tapatalk 4
