Strange behaviour, I never had that one although I change phones quite often and very often re-setup Whatsapp. Are you sure you copied your files to the WhatsApp folder ? Or where does the "whatsapp" folder come from ?

I can happily report that flashing from Global 12.0.1 to EU12.5.2 went smooth, now setting up the phone again. A happy week to all from an equally happy Mi11U owner :) !

I just did this and presto - fastboot loop after the script hung at "set active a" and then only fastboot. After that I tried many ways to get back to a working system, including xiaomi.eu scripts, Miflash and official Xiaomi fastboot images - they all ran without error but still only fastboot...

Unfortunately for those already on 12.5.2CN cannot roll back after unlocking to 12.0.1Global, at least not without EDL. I'm just wondering what the procedure without EDL for those on 12.5.2 is - just go ahead and flash Xiaomi.EU 12.5.2? Or will it still have the high risk of bricking?

Just thinking aloud here - could it be that ROM versions are the issue here ? All chinese Mi11U are on a 12.0.x-ROM presently, maybe those trying to flash a 12.0.x-Xiaomi.EU-Version (or Global) are fine while all those flashing 12.5.xx get the issues ?

Lets assume you unpack the ZIP to C:\Platformtools - then you : open a CMD prompt (click Windows-button, start typing CMD and open command prompt application) change directory to the unpack-directory: cd C:\Platformtools\platform-tools then you can type the commands :)
