It depends. If you have unlocked bootloader and already installed TWRP recovery then wipe data, cache and dalvik cache before flashing the Xiaomi.eu ROM

If Xiaomi enables it on the standard camera app then it will happen. Otherwise you'll have to rely on third-party apps.

You have to follow online guides about fastboot flashing with a Xiaomi tool called MiFlash. Check on en.miui.com to find the right version of the program for your phone and a fastboot image of a China Developer version (because you CAN flash it with locked bootloader) then if you haven't applied...

If the phone goes in fastboot you can flash a fastboot image of a China Developer, then unlock bootloader. The phone is a dead brick or at least you can enter fastboot mode?

After freezing with Titanium Backup Pro the Chinese Assistant and the Game Booster apps the phone ended up in bootloop... As soon as I get it into recovery I'll try a wipe cache and Dalvik Mi5 3/64 Edit: Not working. Had to reflash.

No issues here (I have the same Mi5 version), flashed few hours ago, running fine and it seems that it does not drain that much battery. Hope to see it for Hermes too!

Looks some sort of access through EDL access. When I got my Mi5 that was locked too so I had no workaround. I strongly recommend not to use any unofficial way to get rid of the lock. Anyway we're OT xD

If you wipe /system you usually have to recover the phone with MiFlash via Fastboot At least with my Xiaomi phones reflashing the rom just never worked.
