I downloaded TWRP from TeamWin and my device suddenly died after updating to stable 13.0.13 ROM. Same device than you, Mi 11 Pro. I have noticed that hardbrick can be caused by overheathing. But my device died just after installing TWRP from TeamWin.

Have you tried to repair it? You can do a "test points" checking with device connected to PC via USB. If device is detected, a new ROM can be flashed in EDL mode. I did it, but flashing was not possible: motherboard memory damaged. To do the "Test point" checking, back cover must be opened...

Don't worry, it is a common problem. Reboot phone and try again with another USB port and/or another USB cable.

I had a problem like this, and I fixed by changing USB port. Old USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports work better than 3.1. ones. And check the cable. Some cables failed on sendind data.
