I think the most important thing is to check bootloader status. Flashing ROM is easier when bootloader is open. Look in this forum to find any thread about this topic.

My Mi 11 PRO suddenly died after updating from Stable ROM 13.0.12 to 13.0.13 (first TWRP updating ROM after several fastboot updating ROMs). I don't know why, but I think my TWRP was not the appropiate one. Be sure that the TWRP is the correct one for your device.

Hi My Mi 11 Ultra was bought two mounths ago in TradingShenzhen, with Stable 13.0.13 ROM and twrp already installed. It means that there is no need to install any newer version of TWRP for updating ROM? I don't know what version of TWRP is installed in my device. How can I get this info?

Can you give more details please? What are the apps that cause phone overheating? Video and camera app works fine in my Mi 11 Ultra... You are talking about watching videos from youtube or similar?

I don't know, my phone was unlocked and Stable ROM was already previously installed when I bought in TradingShenzhen. You can choose your ROM when buying there, and I reccomend Stable xiaomi.eu ROM, with OTA updates and Google services working. Look here if you want to install yourself...

There is no problem about overheating until now. (I don't use it for gaming, that's the true). Battery is enough for two days in normal use. This ROM is quite energy-saver. As a precautionary measure, I try not to use quick charger. It works fine but the device is hot while charging in 67W charger.

Same problem as you. Factory reset didn't work. Same issues. Can't open pdf and can't download any attached file from Gmail. You say that this can be fixed by installing Google File Manager or WPS Office. Which is better in your opinion?
